Chef Roni, nothing colorful about this chap, from a humble family who does ‘kenduri caterers’ in their village. He recalls, during his younger age, accompany his father to the market, assisting in food prep and delivering, since than Roni had this craving for culinary through taste… of various spices and herbs.
Since 1995, traveled and worked in many street restaurant and hotel level, free standing restaurants from Kelantan, Terengganu, Malacca, Kuala Lumpur and Johor.
2012, He choose Johor to be his base and pursued his dream and ideas in delivery his creativity ‘good quality food’ and became the man behind the success of Marco Polo Kitchen establish 10years ago and he is embarking a new flagship Bob’s Grill Kitchen serving a new concept for meat lovers and authentic flavors
Has been around in the hospitality business since 1993, with his humble character he managed acquire knowledge in culinary and service. His passion is about people, serving, entertaining and with a creative mindset to ‘wow’!
Since 1997, Hafiss has traveled and worked with top notch restaurants in Lafite- Shangri-La , Villa Danielli- Sheraton, Malaysia, Les Amis, Singapore, neddy’s restaurant, Adelaide, Australia and Sheraton, Brooklyn New York, this exposure has thought him many varieties of cuisine and people from different walk of life.
